My name is Chrissy and I live in Cornwall with hubby Andy, a furry family of 4 cats & 2 neurotic Border collie dogs. Together we all share a pre-1830 house in constant need of renovation, affectionately called ‘The Hovel’. Some unseen residents also share our home and for the most part are well behaved!!! Our home is filled to the brim with an assortment of interesting finds, hubby has another word for it but I think secretly he likes them! I am a self-confessed hoarder & clutter bug with a ‘designer’ home, I created it & there isn’t another one like it... Originally from Nottingham we decided to move to Cornwall some years ago & never regretted it. With its beaches, Holy Wells, standing stones, fishing harbours & quaint villages living in Cornwall feels like being on permanent holiday. I have one son and am a nana to three gorgeous little children. I have many interests such as crafts, history, myths & legends, etc, & love anything vintage, the older the better. I am also a passionate family historian & so decided to combine my interests to see where it takes me.

Thank you for stopping by. Where possible I like to use my own postcards, photographs, etc. You are welcome to use these for personal use on your blogs, websites and crafts. However, please do not use them in any items for sale either as individual items, as a collection or in crafts, thanks. Other images used in my blog that do not belong to me are available at the websites on my links list, which have their own useage guidelines. I hope you enjoyed your visit and take care..
"I looked back and saw my father and his father and all our fathers, and in front to see my son and his son, and the sons upon sons beyond....
As I felt so they had felt and were to feel, as then, so now, as tomorrow and forever. Then I was not afraid, for I was in a long line that had no beginning and no end." Richard Llewellyn
Where possible I like to use photographs and postcards from my own collections. However at times I use graphics, photos and information from the internet and would like to say thank you to the following.
"Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh."
'Stylish and expressive, you were meant for Paris.
The art, the fashion, the wine!
Whether you're enjoying the cafe life or a beautiful park...
You'll love living in the most chic place on earth'.....
What City Do You Belong In?
'Intelligent, introspective, and quite expressive at times...
You appreciate the changes in color, climate, and mood that fall brings
Whether you're carving wacky pumpkins or taking long drives, autumn is a favorite time of year for you'....
