On the Tenth Day of Christmas......

On the tenth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

( Or does 10 Lords A-leaping refer to the ten commandments?)

How I love the works of Tolkien! I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings "end-to-end," meaning as soon as I finish, I pick it right back up again -- do that with several books! But his I love best in all the world...

Me too Holly. It's believed that he wrote Lord of the Rings to help lay the demons to rest from when he served in ww1......I also enjoyed the film which I felt was adapted well....Hugs Chrissy x
