My Grandson Has Arrived....One Proud Nana Here...

******************************
I am very proud to announce the early arrival of my grandson Dylan Riley Edsel Doyle who was born 8.55am February 26 2009 (which happens to be the same birthday as my older brother Michael). Yes, he is 7 weeks early and weighed 4lb 2oz. He is in an incubator but breathing unaided, which is great. He's gorgeous, small but neat. So yep I’m one proud nana....Jane is doing well but has already gone home!!!!Her choice but for many reasons I feel she should have stayed in hospital!....My son Christopher, as you can imagine, is over the moon and so proud of his little boy. I have held Dylan's little hand and he is a Doyle through and through. He looks like his dad, who in turn looked like my dad........

He is smaller than seen on the photograph.
God Bless Him, my dear little grandson......

We got back very late from the hospital tonight and I am very tired. Tiredness and being busy has been the main reason for my not having posted on my blog for a while. Last week Jane went into hospital as it seemed that Dylan was going to arrive even earlier than today. She was sent home last Friday and then went back in this Monday. So you know what I’m going to say....yes I have been looking after my darling granddaughter Korenza, which you know I enjoy...Love that little girl to bits. She went into to see her little brother but at only 14 months old she is still a baby herself. I hope she doesn’t have to ‘grow up’ too quickly!!! Korenza is home with her mummy and daddy tonight but I’m having her again at the weekend. I have to be careful though as I am still not 100% and Andy has his op next Wednesday....all systems go here at the mo......

Thanks Ann & Gina...Apologies for not replying sooner but it's been hectic here and I've not been able to use the computer much due to the builders working in the room where it is....
Yes I am one lucky lady and he will be spoilt rotten with love & cuddles as is Korenza. Makes life worthwhile to see a child's face, that's all that matters. The 'credit crunch' doesn't change the love we have for our families...
Hope your friend & baby are doing well Gina. A spanish friend of mine is due to have a girl any day soon....Special hugs to you both...Chrissy x
