Friday the 13th, Unlucky for Some.........

********************
Hello from the Hovel on Friday the 13th.....has it been unlucky for you? Unfortunately for one of my builders Steve it has. Poor fella wasn’t able to work today due to being really poorly. I hope it wasn’t anything to do with my renovations!!!! Steve has worked really hard with plastering, sanding, etc, the hall, stairs and landing. Plus he’s had to put up with me...hehe...
~~~~~~~
Plus he was a star on Wednesday. Due to my back and hip (which went again due to my stupidity of ‘I feel better let’s get some work done’ mode!) I was concerned about my dogs needing a bath, etc. Steve only went and showered them (and himself...hehe...) in our wet room. As you can imagine it was like a comedy show. Firstly, neither dog wanted to go in there, they weren’t stupid!!! Then Charlotte and I had to hold the door shut and block the bottom of the door with towels. At the word ‘He’s done’ we quickly scrambled out of the utility room followed very quickly by one wet dog who proceeded to shake himself for England! Merlin having been the first victim was soon followed by his brother Arthur who had sussed out what was going on....action replay....lol.... Not content with this Steve helped me flea-spot the cats. Not only is he great with animals Steve is a brilliant plasterer. Thanks Steve I hope you’re feeling better soon.........
Discussing the work!!!
Steve is on the right, Darren, an excellent electrician on the left
and Guy the boss and master carpenter looking busy with a spirit level!!!!
Notice the supervisor....That’s Manic Millie Snotbag wrapped around Guy’s neck...
Well I’m off to let the boys out, who are so clean and fluffy now after their shower. I have put a little about Friday the 13th on my other blog ‘Away with the Faerys’. Why don’t you nip over and let me know what you think. I have sorely neglected that blog but hope to add more when my health has improved. Have a great Valentine’s Day....Until next time....lol.....
Thanks Gina....There is a reason for her name but she is known as Millie. All my cats have a given name & then as I get to know their personalities they are given an affectionate nickname. I will do a post soon about all my furry family. Hope you've had a great day too....Hugs Chrissy x
